The 56th reunion of the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show is set for Aug. 13-16.
Grand marshals for this year’s OVAMS are Randy and Kim Griffith.
The OVAMS is held each year at the antique machinery show grounds just outside of Georgetown (8803 Winfield Dr.), and once again they are expecting a huge turnout. Gates will open at 8 a.m. each day with demonstrations, parades, and live entertainment on the daily schedule.
This year’s show will feature International Harvester tractors, engines and equipment.
Shop the many vendors while enjoying what the OVAMS has to offer and witness some of the antique machines that helped to shape America.
Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Inc. was officially established in March of 1971, marking the start of an annual event that continues to attract antique machinery enthusiasts from Brown County and beyond.
Visit the blacksmith shop on the OVAMS grounds and witness the antique sawmill and shingle mill in action. There will also be plowing demonstrations, a rock crushing, concrete block making, a veneer mill, old fashion spark shows, garden and antique tractor pulls, and many steam engines on display.
Admission is only $6 per day and memberships are $15.
Senior citizens, those on active duty military service, veterans, and first responders can enter on Thursday, Aug. 13 for only $4 admission.
On-site camping is $150 per week.
Use of golf carts and UTVs (no ATVs or sport UTVs) requires a $20 fee.
An antique car cruise-in is planned for Sunday, Aug. 16.
