Mildred L. “Millie” Naylor, age 88, of Hillsboro, formerly of Mowrystown, passed away early Tuesday Morning January 9, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.

She was born April 10, 1935 in New Boston, Ohio, daughter of Jacob and Rose (McCullough) Eiford. On December 17, 1954 she married Gerald “Bob” Naylor, who passed away on September 7, 2004.

Mildred was a graduate of Whiteoak High School Class of 1954 and a former member of the Mowrystown United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed dearly.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Diana Fender and Mike Blackwell of Hillsboro; grandson, Tyler Fender of New Vienna; very special friend, Robert Devilbliss of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a beloved canine companion, Rasckas.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delbert and Clarissa Mock Naylor; brothers: Ray (Opal) Eiford, Orville (Mary Belle) Eiford, and Darrell (Anna Belle) Eiford; sisters: Myrtle Virginia (Bert) Ferguson, Mary A. Rickey, and Mable Lucille (Ray) Stall.

Funeral Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
