Charles T. Drott, age 80, of Russellville, OH, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. He was born April 29, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Charles J. Drott and Mary (Towner) Fisher. He retired from Keebler and was a lifetime farmer. He was a US Army National Guard veteran, a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Brown County Cattlemen’s Association, American Angus Association, Russellville Masonic Lodge #166 (50 years) and the Ohio Valley Scottish Rite 32nd degree.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was also preceded in death by his son, Tommy Drott; siblings, Norman Lewis Fisher, Phyllis Fisher, Norma Jean Fisher and Helen Jetter.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betsy Drott of Russellville; daughter; Amy Edwards and husband Todd of Fairmount, GA; 5 grandchildren, Kayla Edwards (Anthony McQueen), Kevin Edwards, Lori Dunkerley (Parker), Skylar Drott and Justin Drott; 2 great grandchildren, Presley McQueen and Camden Drott; brother, Bill Fisher and wife Tara of Ripley; sisters, Millie Burton of Russellville, Darlene Griefenstine of Cincinnati as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville. Drue Lane will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Masonic services at 6:30 PM.
