Darrell Dee Davis, age 59, of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Ripley, Ohio died Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky. He was a carpenter for the Local 2 Carpenters Union and a member of the Church for All People in Columbus, Ohio and the Grace United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio. Darrell was born June 29, 1963 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Gary Lee Davis of Ripley, Ohio and the late Judy Ann (Coleman) Davis. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother – Jerry Lee Davis, one nephew – Houston Brown and one niece – Amber Dawn Davis.
In addition to his father, Mr. Davis is survived by three sons – Justin D. Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Matthew P. Davis and wife Clarissa of Lexington, Kentucky and Corey Davis of Union, Kentucky; three grandchildren – Cameron Dee Parson, Sophia Marie Parson and Beau Allen Davis; five sisters – Julie Davis of Maysville, Kentucky, Angela Davis of Dayton, Ohio, Melissa Davis of Ripley, Ohio, Christina Davis of Ripley, Ohio and Carissa Schwartzburg and husband David of Ripley, Ohio; one sister-in-law – Melissa Davis of Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
