Eliza (Rita) Kabler age 83 of Russellville, passed away Monday June 25, 2018 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. She was born February 22, 1935 in Salyersville, KY the daughter of the late Claude and Theo (Hayslip) Allen. She was a homemaker and attended church regularly. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by 1 daughter; Veronica Taylor, 3 brothers; Grover Allen, Demp Allen and Buddy Allen, 2 sisters; Nell Howes and Shirley Thompson, 3 grandchildren; Jason Taylor, Kyle Arnett and Shane (Chopper) Mann. She is survived by 4 sons; Larry (Preama) Minix of Idaho, Ronnie (Cathy) Minix of Cincinnati, S. Blaine (Margaret) Taylor of Russellville, and James Robert Taylor of Cincinnati, 3 daughters; Wisetta (Alvin) Fletcher of Valparaiso, IN, Debra McIntire of Chesterton, IN, Monica Bales (Rick Cline) of Winchester, OH, 1 brother; Wayne Allen of Salyersville, KY, 3 sisters; Juanita Rowe of Plymouth, IN, Geneva Howes of Salyersville, KY and Sue Dell Minix of Richmond, KY, 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville with Dennis Hayslip officiating. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley, 215 Hughes Blvd, Mt. Orab, OH 45154.
