The Aberdeen Village Council met in regular session on Aug. 3 at its chambers, but on the following Monday, Aug. 7, Karen Campbell, the village fiscal officer turned in her resignation after being appointed to the position approximately five months ago with the resignation of Nathan Pfeffer.
Campbell brought with her 25 years accounting experience and worked very hard for the village during her time as fiscal officer according to several council members.
