Georgetown Police Chief updates council

Georgetown Chief of Police Robert Freeland recently updated members of the Georgetown Village Council regarding issues his department had handled in the past month.
Chief Freeland reported that there have been five drug overdoses in the village since council’s last meeting.
“One of these overdose cases resulted in a mother being charged with child endangerment when she used heroin and overdosed right after placing her small child in the bathtub,” Freeland said.
