Paul E. Grisham, 71 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017 at the Monarch Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Highland County on July 26, 1945, the son of the late Paul S. and Maxine (Ruggles) Grisham. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his wife, Eunice Grisham on December 23, 2012, sons, Tony Bender and Michael Bender, daughter, Crystal Bender and sister Ruth Ann Walz. Paul served in the United States Army and was a member of the V.F.W.#9094
Paul is survived by his two sons, David Grisham of Sardinia and Steven (Patty) Bender of Mowrystown, daughter, Penny Waits of Wilmington, brother, John (Judy) Grisham of Peebles, sister, Christine (Bill) Williams of Sardinia, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 25, 2017 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Sardinia Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
