April 1st Grand Opening for Jacob’s Ladder Resale Boutique in Georgetown

By Martha B. Jacob –

The new Jacob’s Ladder Resale Boutique is scheduled to officially open Saturday, April 1 and the staff and parents of the Highland County Christian Academy couldn’t be more excited, according to Jody Staker, a grandparent of an academy student.
“We have all been working so hard to get our new boutique open,” Staker, said. “Our boutique is beautiful and we are ready for business. Beth Wright will be the acting manager of the shop while I continue to keep the shelves supplied.”
Jacob’s Ladder Resale Boutique will be operated by volunteers from the academy as well as from the community. All profits from the shop will go directly to the Christian Academy located in Sardinia.
“Everything in the shop has been donated so anything we sell it for will be profit,” Staker said, “And we will be keeping our prices low, so we can move items as quickly as we can.
“We will have a little bit of everything for sale in our boutique, from some clothing to hats, formals, furniture, accessories of all kinds, you name it we have it, and sometimes two of it!”
Staker added that every item in the shop has been cleaned  and disinfected and is ready to sell.  No broken or damaged products will be sold at the shop.
“If it’s not in great shape, it’s not going to be in Jacob’s Ladder Resale Boutique.
The new Boutique is located right next to the Brown County Chamber of Commerce in downtown Georgetown. To reach the Brown County Christian Academy, please call (937) 446-1220. The shop will continue to accept donations of high quality items.
“Remember, we’ll have our grant opening on April Fools Day,” Staker said with a chuckle, “But for anyone looking for a great buy and at the same time help a great school, it will be a lucky day. Everyone is invited.
