Maysville Community and Technical College is now offering a 6-month, hands-on welding certification on the Maysville Campus. Graduates from the program will receive the KCTCS American Welding Society National Skills Standards-Level 1 certificate and be proficient in the following areas: MIG Welding, TIG Welding, Oxyfuel Welding, Blueprint Reading, Cutting Systems, OSHA 30 Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification. Assistance with job placement upon completion of the program is provided.

Classes will begin April 4th from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday and end September 29, 2016. Students may be eligible for financial aid and scholarships. Space is limited.

An information session is planned for Thursday, March 3rd at 5:00 p.m. on the Maysville Campus. Prospective students will have the opportunity to take a tour, learn more about the program and speak to financial aid staff regarding assistance and scholarships..
