Animal Shelter looks to place dogs and sell tags

Bo is a two year old neutered male who weighs 61 pounds. He is housebroken, knows basic commands, walks great on a leash and loves attention. Bo loves other dogs but can not be around cats or chickens. He is an all-round great dog and a staff favorite. Through no fault of his own, he has been bounced around quite a bit. He truly deserves a permanent and loving home. Stop by or call the Brown County Animal Shelter at 937-378-3457 to learn more about Bo.

Bindi is a two year old spayed female weighing 47 pounds. She is up to date on all shots including Rabies. Bindi would do best with a fenced in yard and an alert adopter. She is energetic, very loving, and loves attention. If you have a nice fenced yard and want a loving companion stop by the Brown County Animal shelter at 100 Veterans Blvd. in Georgetown or call them to hear more about Bindi.

The Brown County Animal Shelter and Humane Society are reminding dog owners that 2016 dog licenses can be purchased for $12 per dog until Jan. 31. After Jan. 31 the cost doubles to $24 per dog. Licenses can be purchased at the Brown County Animal Shelter during normal business hours. However, the shelter is opening from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, specifically for the purpose of license sales to help dog owners. Checks or cash are the accepted methods of payment.
