The Georgetown Jr/Sr High School Drama Club will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” The students in the Drama Club at GHS have been hard at work for the last couple of months to stage and present the production. Over 30 students, multiple staff members, and community volunteers have put in numerous hours bringing this production to life.

“Sleepy Hollow” is based on the poem by Washington Irving and features the audacious schoolmaster Ichabod Crane and the villain the Headless Horseman. The setting is in a very haunted and rural Dutch-American village in up-state New York in the early 1800’s.

The students will be performing 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 5, 6, and 7. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. The production is family friendly and all ages are encouraged to attend.

For more information about the production or to find out about where and when to purchase tickets visit the Main Office of the high school during school hours or find the Drama Club on Facebook by searching Georgetown High School Drama Club.
