BCHS has good dogs in need of good homes



The Brown County Animal Shelter has several dogs available for adoption.

Eightball is in urgent need of adoption. No. 4264, he is a terrier mix, known to the staff as “Mister.”

He is a male, currently intact, approximately 3 years old and weighs around 69 pounds. He was a stray from George Miller Road in Russellville. Eightball would prefers to be the only dog in the home. He is learning to play fetch and sit. He has been at the shelter since April and is urgently in need of his permanent home.

Belle, no. 4351, is a hound mix, She is female, approximately 2 years old and weighs around 51 pounds. Belle came from the Sodom Road area in Hamersville. She is a very sweet girl and available for adoption.

Adoption fees are $65. The dog will be spayed or neutered before pick up, the 2015 license will be issued and the 5-in-1 vaccine administered.
