The Brown County Farm Bureau will be hosting a Family Fun Day from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1.

This event will be at the Brown County Fairgrounds and will be open to members and the public.

Family Fun Day will be free for all members and $10 for any non-members of the public.

Incorporating a variety of activities for both children and adults, this event will allow families to understand more about safety, health and community.

Activities for the children will include a wide assortment, including an archery trailer, a scavenger hunt for a chance to win a free bike, a chance to take a picture in a police cruiser and fire truck, fingerprinting for any children and much more.

Adult activities such as corn hole, a tractor and mower obstacle course, a rescue trailer walk-through and many other fun and safety-oriented stops will be throughout the fairgrounds.

The event will lead into the annual meeting starting 6:30 p.m., when dinner will be served.

At the annual meeting, members will have an opportunity to elect leaders, discuss new ideas and recognize scholarship winners. Activities will continue for the Family Fun Day happenings throughout the entire time for those who will not be attending the meeting.

To ensure enough food and giveaways, the Farm Bureau asks all interested in attending the Family Fun Day, the annual meeting or both events, to RSVP to 937-378-2212 by July 20.
