Arthur C Schneider

Arthur Charles Schneider, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky.  He was a retired operator/engineer for John R. Jurgeson, a United States WWII Army veteran, a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 18 and the Syrian Shrine. Arthur was born March 11, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Arthur and Irma (Greensfelder) Schneider. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son – Dean Schneider and two sisters.
Mr. Schneider is survived by his wife – Nancy Ann (Sunderman) Schneider; three daughters – Darlene Schneider Fuller of Cincinnati, Ohio, Debbie Boyd and husband Bob of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Desiree Marler and husband Keith of Sardinia, Ohio; five sons – Doug Schneider and wife Kathy of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Wayne Schneider and wife Judy of Williamsburg, Ohio, David Schneider and wife Diane of Georgetown, Ohio, Dayrell Schneider and wife Sherry of Virginia and Darren Schneider and wife Debbie of Mt. Orab, Ohio; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
