Alcohol and/or drugs are thought to be factors by investigators in a Feb. 14 crash on state Route 133, near milepost 15 in Tate Township in Clermont County, that left a Georgetown man in critical condition.
Kevin Ray Campbell, 46, was an occupant – police declined to say whether he was the driver or passenger – in a 1995 Honda Civic heading southbound at about 8:26 p.m. when the car veered off to the left side of the road, hit a ditch and a tree, and then overturned and ejected Campbell, according to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Batavia.
Campbell was transported by Air Care to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and as of Feb. 21, he had been discharged from the hospital.
The OSHP is investigating the crash, and as of Feb. 21, no charges had been filed.
