There were over 45 entries in this years Georgetown Christmas Parade which was enjoyed by hundreds of residents.
The parade began around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 traveling from the Georgetown High School through town.
The annual holiday parade is sponsored by the Georgetown Christmas Association.
“It was a beautiful parade this year, and the weather certainly cooperated,” said Carol Myers, member of the Christmas Association.
“Our association, which is a non-profit, is made up of all volunteers. Our goal is to showcase our village and its businesses. We were very happy with all the floats and other participation.
“Thanks to everyone who helped make this parade possible again this year. Our parade is also a great way to bring families closer together.”
