First State names new management team in Georgetown

The executive team at First State Bank announces Gerry Schumacher has been named the Manager and Allison McJoynt-Griffith has been named the Office Manager of the Georgetown Banking Center, located 4928 state Route 125. Schumacher also currently manages the Ripley Banking Center and will divide his time between the two locations.

Schumacher has an Associate Degree in Science from the University of Cincinnati Tri-County Academic Center and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from Morehead State University. Additionally, he has a general banking certificate from the Ohio School of Banking at Ohio University of Athens. Gerry has been with First State Bank since 2008 and brings more than 35 years of banking experience to his role. He is involved in many civic organizations throughout Brown and Mason Counties. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and working with his father and brother on their family farm.

McJoynt-Griffith has a degree in Agricultural Business from Wilmington College. She has been with First State Bank since 2011 and served in several different roles including customer service, the loan department, and auditing. Griffith is very involved with the Brown County Farm Bureau. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, helping out on her family’s dairy farm and watching sports.
