Members of the Brown County Health and Wellness Foundation Scholarship Committee are busy planning the annual Fall Golf Outing. The event is scheduled with a shotgun start 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Friendly Meadows Golf Course in Hamersville.

The Golf Outing is sponsored by the Health and Wellness Foundation. There will be food, prizes, raffles, and a Hole-in-One contest. Proceeds from the outing benefit the Foundation’s Healthcare Careers Scholarship Program. This year, the Foundation assisted five Brown County students with $1,000 scholarships.

The cost of the outing is $300 per team (early-bird registration) and includes 18 holes of golf, cart and lunch after the outing. Sign up by Sept. 3 for a reduced rate, after that date the registration fee will be $350 per team. Bring your own foursome, or you can be assigned to a team.

If you are interested in golfing or being a sponsor of the outing, or if you would like more information, contact Teri Baumann at 937- 546-9766 no later than Sept. 3.
