ODOT announces closures

Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation Brown County Highway Maintenance Facility will undertake a series of culvert replacement projects on separate routes this month, weather permitting.

Highway technicians will close state Route 125 on Monday, July 20, between Township Road 153 (Blackshire Road) and TR 515 (Liming Lake Road), approximately three-quarters of a mile east of the Brown-Clermont County line, for a two-day culvert replacement project.

The closure will be in effect beginning at 8 a.m., July 20, and continue through 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, and while state Route 125 is closed, motorists will be detoured via state Route 774 and state Route 133 in Clermont County.

Following this, crews will shift operations to state Route 505 and the 6.83-mile marker, for a three-day culvert replacement project between state Route 756 and County Road 84 (Feesburg-Poetown Road).

The closure will go into effect at approximately 8 a.m., July 22, and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, July 24. Motorists will be detoured by way of state Routes 125 and 221 and US 52.
