The Brown County Board of Commissioners met in regular session June 1 with the following members present: Daryll Gray, President; Tony Applegate, Member; Barry Woodruff, Member

Motion moved by Tony Applegate to adopt resolution regarding the sale or disposal of county property not needed for public use. Property is from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. Second: Barry Woodruff.

Motion moved by Barry Woodruff to approve minutes of previous regular meeting and dispense with the oral reading. Second: Tony Applegate.

Motion moved by Tony Applegate to adopt Resolution 06012015-4. The Brown County Commissioners hereby endorses the 2015 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, prepared by the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission. Second: Barry Woodruff.

Motion moved by Tony Applegate to adopt resolution revoking 911 non-bargaining employees to receive same economic benefits as bargaining unit employees. Second: Barry Woodruff.

Motion moved by Barry Woodruff to approve the request of Charles Ashmore, Court Administrator, for a supplemental appropriation of unappropriated funds from A00 CGF in the amount of $2,000 into 2d3 (Probate Supplies). Second: Tony Applegate.

Motion moved by Tony Applegate to adjourn this meeting with no further business before the Board this 1st day of June, 2015. Second: Barry Woodruff.

Commissioner, Tony Applegate, met with Sherri Carbo, Gov. Kasich’s Office, to consider options of Southwest Regional Healthcare Facility, May 29.

Commissioners discussed FOP negotiations with Ben Albrecht, attorney, via conference call, June 1.

Commissioners met with Wayne Gates, BCP, to discuss overcrowding of the Brown County Detention Center, June 1.

Commissioners met with Ginny Shrimplin, CORSA, and Cathy Blevins, John Wood Insurance, to review liability insurance.

Commissioners met with Roger Nyhuis to discuss Board of Health matters, June 1.
